Will Orchids grow in WaterBeads?

Orchids are one of the most finicky plants I have ever dealt with, although the blooms are well worth the effort.  I am definitely not an orchid specialist by far, so I got the answer to if orchids will grow in WaterBeads from a true orchid artist, check out the answer on by blog here http://bit.ly/mUGk72

Indoor summer tropics planting

Hey,
So, the heat is so tremendous down here if Florida, I put up a sunshade over my garden.  This helped my plants a little, although most everything is still dwindling away in the heat.  So, it's time to prep for August.
August is the next planting time here.  Absolutely nothing grows for the next two months outside.  What I'm planning now, to start a small salad garden indoors.  Salad requires a much cooler temperature that just isn't seen without intervention down here.
I will be testing the theory of using my WaterBeads as seed starters, and I feel that most of these plants will do fine throughout their cycle in them as none are very weighty.
Stay tuned to see "how does my garden grow".  Or, check my blog at http://www.waterbeads4plants.com/blog

Freshen up your WaterBeads

A year has passed and I have displays that I made way back then.  I recently did a full scale freshen up on all my home displays.  How to freshen up your WaterBeads to make them look like they did the day you got them.  http://waterbeads4plants.com/blog/2011/06/14/freshen-up-your-waterbeads/
